A multidisciplinary lab on biophotonics and optical technologies

Texas A&M University College of Engineering

 

 

 

Duties are specifically related to research activities and require advanced knowledge in the field of engineering, fluids, heat transfer, thermodynamics, and biological materials. Duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Participate in the research program to develop and advance the research of the Agui-lab
  • Publish results in reputed journals; prepare reports; present research in conferences
  • Write proposals to funding agencies
  • Mentor Ph.D., MS, and undergraduate students
  • Specific duties pertaining to research activities
  • Related duties as required

Education and Qualifications:

  • Ph.D., by the hire date, in Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, or related discipline.
  • Evidence of scholastic and academic excellence in the following areas of expertise:
  • Evidence of leadership abilities
  • Excellent written/oral communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment

If you are a graduate student who is officially admitted to one of the departments within the College of Engineering at Texas A&M University, and you are interested in working in the Agui-lab or would like to explore research opportunities.
