We are proud to announce that Crysthal Alvarez achieved 2nd place in the ATP-Bio Y4 Annual Meeting poster competition. Her poster, titled “Digital Holography: An Optical Tool for In-Situ Temperature Measurements in Cryopreservation,” showcases groundbreaking research in cryopreservation technology.
Crysthal had the honor of presenting her findings to Mrs. Donna Walker, the esteemed wife of the late Dr. J. Mike Walker, co-founder of Dril-Quip. Dr. Walker, a former Texas A&M University student, is the namesake of the J. Mike Walker ’66 Department of Mechanical Engineering.
This achievement is a testament to Crysthal’s hard work, dedication, and the innovative spirit of our research community. Congratulations, Crysthal, on your well-deserved success!
